This is a simple recipe for really anyone who wants a pumpkin spice flavored milkshake. I decided to make this because since it’s been raining at random increments in South Florida, I checked this week’s weather and everyday will be 84 degrees. So instead of a latte (even a cold one), I figured making a milkshake would be even better. Enjoy!
Dairy-Free Pumpkin Spice Milkshake | Vegan
A sweet cold treat for those living in warmer climates during autumn
Equipment
- blender
- measuring spoons
- 24 oz mason jar
Ingredients
- 2 cups dairy-free vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup pumpkin butter room temperature
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- maple butter for drizzle I use Trader Joe's maple butter
- vegan whipped cream
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth
- Pour into a mason jar and drizzle with maple butter
- Top with dairy-free whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
Notes
I suggest using pumpkin butter instead of just pureed pumpkin as it's a more concentrated version of pureed pumpkin. The pumpkin butter better imparts the pumpkin flavor without adding much more liquid to the milkshake. You can use store bought pumpkin butter or make your own with this pumpkin butter recipe.
