Hello there lovelies!
Today is Sunday October 10th and it’s 9:33am. I’m having a lazy morning but yesterday, I was up and at ’em. I got out early and went to Target for 9 volt batteries to cease the song of the smoke detectors singing their way into my everlasting nerves. Target and HomeGoods are pretty close so I also decided to return some jugs and picked up a few very adorable items that I just wanted to share with you.

I love having conversations at the table. I firmly believe that food brings people together even if you’re upset with each other or you’ve been having a bad day; conversations at the table help you to learn more about those close to you. I picked up these two games (well, one isn’t really a game, but you get what I mean) to have out if I have company over. And yes, I know, one is a little raunchy but hey, who doesn’t love a fun “dirty” game?

I picked up a new cookbook, a gratitude journal, and a blank journal. The cookbook I would love to use for a get together I have this month. I’ve always wanted to have a charcuterie board but because of my dairy-allergy, I never really ventured into trying to make one. I know here are vegan options but let’s be real, most of them are not that tasty. And I’m also not vegan, just dairy-free. I prefer not to eat pork but I’ll make an exception for this. I’m excited to try a few from this book and will definitely post about how it goes!

Also, I bought this beautiful marble lazy susan from Homegoods specifically to use as a charcuterie board or a serving tray. I’ve been looking for something like this for over two years and to finally find it for on 15 bucks was a really great deal!

These ceramicware dishes are perfect for placing desserts, side dishes, and breakfast treats in. I love the new pumpkin dish as it’s the perfect size for a tart. I also plan on making a pear tart for the get together I’m having/ I’ll definitely share the recipe if it turns out well!

Lastly, my newest addition to my mug collection. I see myself using it to drink copious amounts of hot cocoa with marshmallows watching Halloweentown, The Little Vampire, and or course Hocus Pocus!
