Cranberry Apple Mule

Those of you who know me probably know that I love a good mule; one that’s not too sweet, has a good amount of heat from the ginger beer, and just the right amount of vodka. This recipe is a holiday twist on a Moscow Mule.

Ingredients

1 cup (8 oz) mulled apple cider
½ cup (4 oz) cranberry juice (or cranberry juice cocktail)
1 cup (8 oz) vodka
1 cu (8 oz) strong ginger beer
finely chopped candied ginger optional

Instructions

Make the mulled cider and cool to room temperature before using.
Combine al ingredients in a shaker.
Pour over ice, sprinkle candied ginger on top, and enjoy!
