Summer 2022 is coming to a close, but not yet! August is still one of the warmest days of the year, bringing back nostalgic memories of sipping lemonade on the porch, the final weeks before school starts, and watching the sunset on the horizon, the sky bursting with hues of red, burnt orange, and golden yellow.
I’ve always thought of August as a golden yellow month. Do any of you do that? In your mind, each month of the year has a particular color or colors? February is red and pink, March is green, April is lilac, October is orange, December is most definitely red and gold. For me, August has always been golden yellow. Like the yellow coating of a No. 2 pencil, like the deep hue of yellow that reaches across the sky during the golden hour. Summer technically isn’t over, but as is typical this time of year, pre-fall attire is already emerging. Incorporating the color golden yellow, will give you the perfect transition from summer to fall.
