Hello!
Yes I know I haven’t posted in ages.
I wanted to take the time to really re-evaluate what I want my blog to be about and how to simply be more active. I initially started making posts that were trending (H&M Summer collection, The Nordstrom Anniversary sale) but I now know that I can’t keep up with posting quality content and trends while working a full-time job and trying to start up a business. This blog got placed on the back-burner because the job (what currently pays my bills) and the business took priority. I was looking at other successful blogs and got caught in comparison to the amount of content that they were producing per blog post, as well as the frequency. I didn’t take into account however that these blogs are well-established. Making posts about fashion came far easier for the as they used RewardStyle. However, RewardStyle only allows you to use their software (which allows you to easily link products on your posts) but only if you have 10,000 followers or more in Instagram. I am quite far from that. So it was so much effort to link products on a post that had no traction anyway. If anyone reading this knows by chance of an app or p
What I’ve decided is that I’m not going to try to keep up with the trends. If a post is in line with what’s trending then great! If it’s not, then that’s also great and I hope you will love the content that I produce! More so, I’ll simply post about what is going on in my life and share ideas about topics running through my mind as of late. What you’ll expect to see from me is that I post a minimum of one post per week, and that I’ll share my interests that ‘m working on or things I was able to accomplish. (I’ll also say that when I was trying to keep up with the trends, it also pushed back the interests that I wanted to work on.
For example the Simone Rocha H&M Collection recently released but I’m in the midst of purchasing some planters, soil, and garden tools so that I can finally start my garden. Your girl isn’t rich, so I would have to choose one to purchase. Plus, buying things from the Simone Rocha Collection would be just for myself, while creating the garden would be for myself and my parents, so there is a greater benefit. Ok, close parentheses.)
With all that said, I’m just a girl in her 20s looking to connect with like-minded ladies. I figured that writing and sharing my experiences as I navigate through life will help other ladies like myself as well. I hope that whoever reading this will enjoy the blog and find something that helps answers some questions you may have had!
xoxo,
~Chae~
